is a 30-40 year old eau de cologne 6 oz bottle of D'ORSAY
Trophee, labels are in excellent condition. Box was
sealed and was opened to show the bottle. The bottle
has never been opened and is still sealed. As you can
see from the photo the box has extreme storage wear.

- pre major plastic surgery. The presentation is MINT

ORIGINAL
Replique Perfume by Raphael, Launched by the design
house of raphael in 1947, this is what's left of what
looks to be 1 OZ. I would guess there is about 1/3 OZ
left of this heavenly scent. It looks as if the original
plug is still in place and that it has evaporated to
about a third. I can sniff around the seal with the
lid off and the scent is still very good.
Replique
perfume has top notes of Italian bergamot, Sicilian
lemon, cardamom, neroli, coriander, clary sage and fresh
aldehydes. Mid-notes of ylang ylang, lily of the valley,
Egyptian jasmine, mimosa, tuberose, heliotrope and coumarin.
Base notes of oakmoss, olibanum, powdery amber, musk,
vetiver, patchouli.

Perfume has top notes of bergamot, orange oil and aldehydic
accords. Middle notes of heliotrope, ylang-ylang, geranium,
jasmin, rose, tabac. Dry down notes of cedarwood, musk,
sandalwood, vanilla and vetiver.

Prince Matchabelli Abano Prince
Matchabelli After Bath Cologne Huge 6 Oz
This bottle stands over 7 inches tall and is missing
just a bit but there is still PLENTY left. Prince Matchabelli
Abano After Bath Cologne originally held 6 oz, I would
say there is over 5 ounces left to bath yourself in.
RARE AND HARD TO FIND.
Matchabelli
(known for his crown shaped bottles) put on the market
a bath oil, very strong, called Abano. It was advertised
quite a lot in Vogue (also the French Vogue). The next
year, 1936, Matchabelli put on the market the perfume
Abano and it was advertised again a lot. They insisted
that the perfume was put on the market to offer the
fragrance version of the strong and dark bath oil. It
was said also that Abano the perfume was a fresh version
of the oil (you needed only 2 drops in your bath to
get perfumed all around) "delicate but strong,
seducing but light". The advertising in Europe
had a strong purpose: the big international Exhibition
held in 1937.
In 1937 Vogue Paris an article dedicated to new perfumes
said: "what Americans usually call foundation perfume
is an oil exaggeratedly perfumed and only few drops
mixed in the bath water are enough to form a fragranced
base that will not leave you the entire day."
Discontinued
by Prince Matchabelli who introduced it in 1931. Its
fragrance notes are oakmoss, orange, patchouli, lavender,
herbs and grasses

soliflore carnation perfume ever made. Antique because
it was created in 1937 and hasn't been made since the
mid-sixties (?); a fact that is incomprehensible to those
